An e-mail conversation with Letitia about karate class:

Mamacita: How do the boys like the class? And more importantly, is the instructor cute?

Letitia: The instructor is older and grey. I think you have to pay more for karate if you want an instructor straight out of the Marine Corps.

Mamacita: Next time I'll do more research before I decide on a karate program. I'd pay another $10 for some MAN CANDY.

Letitia: I think man candy might be considerably more than $10. When I start my gigolo dojo, you'll be the first to know.

 Reading: The Rules of Civility by Amor Towles. I didn't like it nearly as much as A Gentleman in Moscow . In fact, I liked it only barely enough to keep reading. Watching: Poker Face , on Peacock. God, this is horrifying. I wonder if she's as embarrassed as I am. OW! Ow MOTHERFUCKER! Okay, this hurts less than childbirth, but only because it doesn't last as long. What is she saying? 'Twas brillig and the ... the ... Dammit. HOW BIG IS MY VAGINA? She could have mowed the back 40 by now. God, how come nobody told me this shit was growing halfway down my leg?
