GUH! Now, I know a lot of people who swear by this particular book. I think it probably does have some gems inside, but that quote just jumped out at me. Like Norman Bates in Psycho.

Confession time: I had to admit I reluctantly like the mayonnaise and soy sauce combination (with less soy sauce than the recipe calls for). It's good with artichokes.
ReplyDeleteSeriously?! Well, if you like it, I might be willing to try it. I know that I like mayonnaise in all kinds of things, I just prefer not to know that it's in there. [I tell myself it's an egg vinaigrette.]
