Hatch Day
My in-laws keep chickens. They had eleven eggs set to hatch on July 28. E&B desperately wanted to be there to watch it, but we had to be in Houston that day. So we had a hatch day party with a few friends. We made decorations
and drank sparkling ciderand ate the cupcakes Letitia decorated.
Some people like to post photos of their perfectly coordinated parties with matching suites of letterpress stationery, ribbons, balloons, etc. But I think that parties are the rare case where quantity trumps quality -- don't you agree?

This is a great site you have here. I have a humor blog myself and I would like to exchange links with you. Let me know if this is possible. Until then, I look forward to reading some more of your posts. Take care.
ReplyDeleteI'm all in favor of quantity, particularly when there are cupcakes involved.
ReplyDeleteThose blog posts of parties with matching everything are super creepy. Have you seen the custom-made water bottle lables? WATER BOTTLE LABELS! I'm glad my friends just serve good food and wine.
ReplyDeleteI love those cupcakes.
